Who Are We?
The Inland Empire Math Council (IEMC) strives to bring community and engagement opportunities around the teaching and learning of mathematics to all persons residing in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. We encourage all teachers and parents to join our organization and help us spread the belief that all people are mathematician and deserve to participate in a mathematical world.
Our Mission
To provide meaningful opportunities for educators to learn, explore, network and share together, so that our students have access to quality math education.
Our Goals for 2026 and Beyond
For 2026 and beyond, one of our goals is to continue to host a one-day conference for math educators and administrators inviting local and national speakers to attend and share their wisdom and knowledge with us.
Additionally, we will work to increase our membership, add additional events for math enthusiasts, and strive to deliver high-quality resources to our membership.
As Lao Tzu notes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” We are excited to be on this journey, and we hope to share each step with you as we make it.
